This time of year most people on earth celebrate some kind of holiday. Sadly, this also means more animals than during any other time of year are being killed. And this after a short, painful and excruciatingly torturous life.

But thanks to more and more people who think compassionately, who no longer think of an animal as something but as someone, there is hope that animal awareness will spread around the world.
